bodda...

thats the blogname i chose for myself...
it was sumthing else when i first signed up, but then decided use this signature title which was so mine at uni.

bodda literally means boro vai.... elder brother... in chittagong dialect
but its a trademark word for chittagong. and you would mostly hear a chittagonian being addressed as bodda....
for the non BD, let me shed a little light on chittagong...

Chittagong is in south east of Bangladesh and is a sea port city. it has the biggest port in BD and the biggest unbroken sea beach in the world (the places name is coxs bazar)
but its the history and the people that makes the place so different... long long back, chittagong was not a part of bengal, but was a different kingdom, part of the arkan empire (currently part of myanmar)... and ebing a port city, this chittagong has been developed and flourishing with trade and commerce since long bank.

today chittagong is the second largest city of BD and the so called commercial capital. sadly however, lack of proper infrastructure and everything makes her a neglected town, useless despite her vast potential.... and the result? hard core chittagonians like me hv to stay away from this beloved city just for the job.....

man... i better learn to keep track of my words... i was talking abt bodda....
where was i?.... so dats why i got my signature title as my blog site... to let the world know that i m a chittagonian...
